Many of our struggles are not random.
The same patterns tend to repeat across relationships, work, identity, discipline, belonging, love, and purpose. Even when the circumstances change, the underlying struggle often stays surprisingly familiar.
This event is an introduction to a powerful framework for understanding why that happens.
Together, we will explore Seven Developmental Drives that shape human life in deep and recurring ways:

  • Safety
  • Structure
  • Selfhood
  • Place
  • Love
  • Meaning
  • Wholeness

These drives influence how we relate to need, boundaries, identity, belonging, intimacy, purpose, and the challenge of becoming more whole.
We will talk about why certain struggles keep showing up, why insight alone is often not enough to create lasting change, and how deeper developmental patterns shape the way we live, relate, and grow.
This will be a mix of teaching, reflection, and open discussion. The goal is to give you a clear introduction to the Seven Developmental Drives, help you begin recognizing which patterns may be most active in your own life, and open a deeper conversation about what real growth actually requires.
This event is informal and welcoming. You do not need any background in psychology or personal development to come. It is for thoughtful people who want a deeper understanding of why life patterns repeat and what it might look like to begin changing them at the root.
