A 12 mile, figure of eight walk from Priory Country Park to Great Barford. The route takes in part of the Ouse Valley Way plus we walk along the bank of the River Great Ouse for around a third of the walk.

What to Expect
A 12 mile walk predominantly on footpaths and bridleways (keeping to field boundaries as far as possible), farm tracks, and a few short sections on quiet roads. We will be crossing a few fields which given the time of year are likely to be muddy! There are no significant hills on this walk, and the total walk ascent is only around 120 ft (37m), we will maintain a general walking pace of over 3mph throughout the walk, i.e. walking each mile in under 20 minutes.

Although this walk is reasonably long it is mostly flat and is not too challenging. It is suitable for anyone with a moderate standard of walking fitness.

If you are a first timer please read the 'About us...' section on the homepage before signing up for this walk, ensuring appropriate fitness and suitability.

If you can't make the walk please change your RSVP in plenty of time.
