Sundon and the Chalgrave Heritage Trail (13 Mile Circular Walk)
Details
A very pleasant walk from Sundon country park, through countryside and farmland, following the ancient Icknield Way and the Chalgrave Heritage Trail to Toddington before returning to Sundon.
What to Expect
A 13 mile walk mainly on good tracks and small lanes, some tracks may be overgrown and muddy in places. There will be a few hills but nothing too steep, total ascent 1200ft. We will maintain a pace of just over 3mph throughout the walk.
This walk is quite challenging due to the distance and amount of ascent, it will be suitable for anyone with a good standard of walking fitness.
If you are a first timer please read the 'About us...' section on the homepage before signing up for this walk, ensuring appropriate fitness and suitability. If you can't make the walk please change your RSVP in plenty of time to allow others to attend.
