Ampthill Country Park 5 miles circular (summer evening walk)

Details
This lovely 5 mile circular walk starts in the historical Ampthill Great Park for half a loop, before leaving the park through Laurel Wood into countryside before returning to complete the other half of the loop past the football and cricket grounds.

What to expect
We will be walking on a mixture of level, surfaced paths, grassy tracks and a small amount of road. It is suitable for anyone with a good standard of walking fitness- we typically maintain a pace of just over 3mph throughout the walk.

Public Toilets: although there are toilets in the Park, they will be locked.
Cost: There is a £2.00 charge payable by cash at the start of the walk
