Neil deGrasse Tyson is an astrophysicist and the author of eighteen books, including the #1 bestselling books Starry Messenger: Cosmic Perspectives on Civilization and Astrophysics for People in a Hurry, which spent 82 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list. He is the director of the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History, where he has served since 1996. He lives in New York City. His latest book is Take Me To Your Leader, which spent six weeks on the NY Times Bestseller List.
