Beenleigh Tabletop and Board Game Meetup

Want to meetup to play some board games on a Friday night? Of course you do!

This is set up at 'The Adventurers Guild' in Beenleigh. It is an ever growing store for Dungeons and Dragons and Magic: the Gathering. But we are a humble guests in their space.

With that being said, Please be respectful of the other patrons in the store as well as your fellow gamers. There are snacks and drinks available for purchase and highly recommend that you do so because we are using the space for free.

If you are unsure about what we do at the events, people bring games to play and teach and then we...play and teach board games. If you have no games of your own and just want to play something, still come on down and we can play something with you. If you have never played a game outside of Monopoly, Clue/Cluedo or The Game of Life, never fear, we will not throw you in the deep end into something deep and heavy.

Take your time while learning something new, forgive yourself and if you are learning a new game with me, I will gladly give you tips and tricks to help you understand the rules as we go. Trust me, you will win against me, not because I let you but because I, myself, suck at winning.

If you are a veteran of Board Games and have something specific you want to play, please let us know in the discussion below to see who might be interested in playing as well. There will be a table set aside for you so that you can set it up and if you are there early enough, you can set it up before people come in.

There are times we have a member that is asking for play testers for his own game he is creating. If you see that Austinn is in attendance, reach out to him directly and let him know that you want in.

To get into the shop, you will need to make your way up stairs and towards the back. There is an 'OPEN' sign above the door to which you need to slide it open to get in. Send me a message if you get lost.

Welcome to another event. I am hosting these events once a month at the Beenleigh Library in a meeting room so that we have space to play on Saturday.

There is a little limiting on space as the room only has space for 15 people with tables but the space goes up to 25 if others want to see what we are up to and come for the social aspect.

We have Meeting Room 1 booked for 4 hours so if there is a large game, there is not a lot of scrambling to get out of there.

Message me if there are issues with finding the place, or meeting room, but there is an information desk in the centre of the library which should also help you find us.

There are a couple of board games that the library has for us to play if you wanted to give them a go.
