Beers & Board Games Roadshow: Ramova Theatre Taproom

Come play some games, drink some beers and meet your new best friends.

Beer & Board Games Chicago is a regular get-together to celebrate the holy trinity of hops, cardboard & good times. Since 2017, we've been meeting the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at Navigator Taproom in Logan Square. Additionally, sometimes, we take our show on the road. The Roadshow is an opportunity for us to get together on a weekend for some longer plays and hit up some of the many great taprooms and other cool venues across the city.

This month, we'll be visiting Ramova Theatre's Taproom space in Bridgeport. Ramova Theatre, originally opened in 1929, re-opened last year after sitting dormant since it originally closed in 1985. The overhauled space is now home to live event venue, beer garden, and a grill and taproom, which is the space we'll be in for this event. It's a unique opportunity to play your favorite games in a designated Chicago Historical Landmark building! In the evening they'll also have a band in the garden if you'd like to stick around!

A full brunch menu and in-house brews from Other Half Brewing will be available. Metered street parking is fairly plentiful, and the Theatre is accessible via the 8 and 35 buses, which connect with the Orange and Red lines, respectively.
