The Treachery of Boardgames

Too much existential musing last week has us questioning everything and so this week we are querying whether these are board games or the reflection of board games painted subjectively on the canvas of our mind's eye, a shared experience we negotiate through the compromise of collective meaning? And when we start thinking like this it can only mean one thing - we need a drink and a few laughs.

How does it work: We start at 19:00 in the backroom of the Firebowl bowling alley, where we will be sat twirling our paintbrushes and saying things like "What feeling does this evoke in you?" We bring along a wide selection of games, from casual party games, all the way up to ridiculously complicated stuff with space bees and the suchlike. You're also more than welcome to bring some of your own games, if you want. We're there to help explain rules and set people up with new games between 19:00 - 19:30. After that we will still be about, but playing some nonsense ourselves. Our regulars are a lovely bunch and very friendly.
