New Year Meetup Account Cleanup

Hello Beer Necessities!!

As we inch closer to 2026, please be aware of upcoming changes in our Meetup group. Accounts that have not been accessed for more than 3 years will be permanently deleted next month. As a friendly reminder, official gatherings for this group are facilitated through Meetup. RSVPs are made, edited and tracked there. We will occasionally promote meetups in our Facebook group, but that is not guaranteed. To stay active, please make sure your Meetup account is active.

Note: Since Beer Necessities event coordinators and Meetup hosts are unpaid volunteers, managing two platforms can get tedious for us. Overtime, membership in our Facebook group will also be vetted and inactive members deleted so group management can be easier for all. This will also help with preventing group hackers and member imposters.

This will be the only reminder for Meetup. Please make sure your account profiles with both platforms are current before January 15, 2026.
