Hello, and welcome to one of the original meetup groups. 16 years ago, there were only 6 here in Bend, and we, being the only happy hour one, well, we were quite popular. Now, there are at least 300 or so groups here in Bend, with a little something for everyone.

So, what makes us different from many other groups in Bend, is that most of our events are limited to just 8 attendees. So, if you're not one for crowds, or you're socially anxious, you came to the right place. Plus, a smaller group size affords shared conversation with everyone. I do, from time to time, open up the number if the venue affords it, or when posting a Meet and Greet or outdoor activities.

What do we do? Wine tasting in the upper Willamette and Rogue Valleys, road trips to Hood River, and east towards the Painted Hills. Come winter, the ever-popular happy hour/bonfire in the snow. Potluck dinners too! Basically, whatever I can dream up to get people up and out and in the company of others.

To let you know, I charge a yearly dues of $10 a year. This helps me offset the nearly $400 I pay to keep my groups online. If you don't want Meetup HQ to have your credit card info, please, after you join and initiate the free trial, contact me and you can send me the money via Venmo (preferred) or PayPal, or even mail a check to me.
