Half of this trip will be a step back in time, from our first stop Shaniko (once the sheep capital of the world, and if that doesn't reel you in I don't know what will), to Lil o' Wasco (home of the Dirty Girl Saloon, as well as Pemberton's Chocolates).

Hood River our third stop is a nice little town that offers a little something for everyone--lots of brew pubs, to breweries, to galleries, to a scenic railroad line. Here, we'll have a nice lunch at the 6th Street Bistro. Everything on the menu is good. It's my favorite eatery here. We'll allot time to mosey the streets as there are many eclectic gift shops nearby.

Here's the general itinerary:
8:30 Depart Tumalo
9:30 Arrive Shaniko, break, town and museum tour
11:00 Arrive Wasco, wet throat at the Saloon, optional
12:15 Arrive Hood River, lunch at 6th St Bistro
Optional stops at Cathedral Ridge Wine Winery and or the Farm Mkt.
6:00pm arrival back in Tumalo. We may elect to further 'debrief' at the food cart lot.

I'll need a couple of drivers to volunteer their vehicles. Based on two vehicles, all pitch in at least $15 cash for gas.
