Hi, this is Tom Cappy, your organizer.

Welcome to our friendly group. As you will see I post events in Redmond, Sisters, and Bend, and from time to time, at my place. Occasionally we reach out to Prineville and Sunriver as well.

I recommend you download the meetup app. There, you can rsvp as well as "un-rsvp" from your phone (should you ultimately be unable to attend an event). I post approximately 4-6 events every month.

All new members enjoy a 14-day trial period to see if the group is a good fit* for you.

>>>IMPORTANT: If you have signed up for an event that occurs past the date that your trial period ends and fail to pay your annual dues, the system will automatically remove you from the group. There will be no record of you. That said, your rsvp for any event you signed up for will be void. I suggest you make a note of that.

You can pay online (it's secure), by mail, or in person. You can also pay your dues via Venmo (preferred) or PayPal. Just reach out to me and I'll send you the acct numbers.

The $10 annual dues goes towards membership--whether or not you choose to participate. That said, DO know that from the day you join, and provide your debit or credit card information, your account will be billed on that anniversary date every year. If you wish, you can edit your profile settings and turn off auto-renew.

Please add a "current" profile (mugshot) picture. If you were hosting a gathering in your own home, wouldn't you want to see who's coming?

***Inside skinny: when you come across an event that is wait-listed, get on it. Folks invariably change their minds.
