On to the event description:
The Capital District is blessed with so many wonderful breweries and I seldom get out to explore them. So I decided to start a series of brewery tastings where we sample beer and food at local brewpubs and compare notes regarding what we like and dislike.
Therefore, I plan to do a tasting with a flight of beers. I hope others will do the same and we can compare our impressions of their offerings.
But you don't have to order a flight. You can order just a pint. Order an appetizer or a full meal. But come on out for some eating, drinking, chatting, fun!
I'll be getting dinner and a flight of beers before heading over to the Crandell Theater for a screening of the silent classic "The Phantom of the Opera" from 1925, with live musical accompaniment. Please feel free to join me for the movie afterwards, but get your tickets early as it will probably sell out.
