This is a group for all those who enjoy craft beer. Whether you're just starting out with the occasional sour or that person who is psyched about the next Double Imperial Oatcream Sour Chocolate Cake Stout this is a great chance to meet others with whom to share your interests.
Steph and I are keen to meet new people to share our ongoing journey of exploration and discovery in what is clearly an exploding industry in Australia if not world-wide.
The plan is to host monthly events in craft beer bars or breweries around Melbourne. In addition we will be on the lookout for special events:
- new openings
- beer festivals
- tap take-overs
- new releases
- brewery crawls
- organised trips to those hard-to-reach breweries outside Melbourne and perhaps even interstate
This is an inclusive and non-judgmental group built on a principle of mutual respect.

Right! I am finally crawling out from under my rock of career stuff. I've completed a huge milestone and about to start a new big chapter in my life so I'd like to host something kinda special.
A few beernerds went to Bad Shepherd for a dark beer festival recently. BS have decided to host another festival this time combining the dark beer and an earlier IPA festival into one huge fest of beery goodness.
This one is an easy train trip from Flinders Street and a short walk. Tickets are required but, there are 40 BEERS not widely available elsewhere and the ticket price includes UNLIMITED tasters.
