About us
Whether you are just picking up a pencil for the first time or finally getting back to a hobby you put aside years ago, this is a space to learn the fundamentals of manga drawing at your own pace. We meet weekly to work through basic techniques together, focusing on things like character proportions, facial expressions, and panel layout. The goal is to move past the intimidation of a blank page by practicing in a supportive, low-pressure environment where everyone is starting from the same place.
You do not need to be an expert or have a finished portfolio to join us. Most of our sessions involve sharing tips, working on simple exercises, and getting feedback from one another as we develop our skills. If you have been wanting to draw your own stories but were not sure where to begin, please come by and grab a seat. We look forward to seeing what you create.
