Beginner Muay Thai Lesson & Class

A 1 hour class for people who want to learn Muay Thai and have no to little experience in martial arts. EVERYONE regardless of age and physical fitness level is invited. My goal is to teach REAL Muay Thai for sport, fighting, or even fitness, come by. No experience required!
What is Muay Thai?
Muay Thai is boxing from Thailand, involving punches, kicking, elbows, and knees. I am deeply passionate about Muay Thai and will teach you real techniques for the sport and fighting.
What will the event look like?
- I will demonstrate basic techniques such as punches, kicks, and movement. I will correct your form and you will participate in drills either with a partner, alone, or with me. You may train at the level that works for you.
DISCLAIMER: I will teach you fighting skills, but we will NOT be hurting each other. There may be drills that involve CONTROLLED placement of strikes to certain body parts (example, a partner puts their hand out and you aim for it), but if at any point you and/or your partner are not comfortable with this, you do not have to participate. You can still participate and learn by striking an imaginary target.
What do I bring?
- Water
- Appropriate clothes for the weather and training. Comfortable shorts and footwear that you can move in.
- BOXING GLOVES, SHIN GUARDS, ANY GEAR NOT REQUIRED!
