Intermediate Spanish Classes (In-Person)

In this class, we will explore the Spanish language through 8 modules. We will be speaking from Day 1, and covering concepts which assume you have a basic understanding.

The goal is that by the end of the series, you should be able to engage in simple and structured conversations. This is useful for dating, business trips and getting around a Spanish-speaking country.

Weekly homework is required and active participation is also required of all participants. The classes are a 4-part series, and all 4 classes are mandatory to attend.

Note that these classes are not free.

Classes will be held in-person at Mississauga Valley Community Centre from 6:40pm to 7:40pm weekly.

Important: you must have the ability to speak in Spanish with proper pronunciation.
- Most instruction throughout this series will be in Spanish.
- A DoGood Spanish Beginner Class is a recommended prerequisite.
- However, if you can engage in basic conversational Spanish, we will welcome you!

Do the classes have a cost?
Yes, classes have a reasonable cost and can be paid through eventbrite.com or in cash.

What should I bring?
A water bottle, snack, notebook and pen, and a Spanish-speaker mindset. We encourage participants to only speak Spanish during class.

Is free parking available?
Yes, the Community Centre has ample parking, and is very accessible by transit.

Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely not, this is an adult class. The themes are fast-paced and we want all participants to feel comfortable. We can make exceptions for teenagers who are well-versed in Spanish.

What if I miss a class?
It is recommended that you attend all four (4) classes in the series. We can make a rare exception and offer a paid, Zoom class, for extreme circumstances.
