Little O'Malley Peak

Hey folks! With the great success of our last hike, I'm compelled to keep the momentum going as summer seems to be flying by.

Let's hike Little O'Malley this Sunday, 8/3/25, at 9:30am AKDT. This hike is located at the Glenn Alps Trailhead. It's 4 miles RT and rated moderate with an elevation gain of 1800 feet. The weather calls for another perfect day, but, you know the drill, bring layers, water, and snax. Be bear prepared with spray, bells, and bear horn.

Lisa M. Maloney describes it as "the shortest, sweetest mountain hike in the valley. Instant gratification" in her book, 50 Hikes Around Anchorage.

If you have control of your dog(s) off-leash, you are welcome to bring yours! If not, leashes will be required. I will not be bringing my own babies because of the news lately...IYKYK...LOL.
