Andrew Lekish Loop at Kincaid Park

Details
Kincaid Park in Anchorage, AK, is a great park to meander around. The trail is appropriate for all hiking levels. It has beautiful, natural scenery, and lots of wildlife. This photo of a mama moose and her baby was taken by me when I was there last time. :-)
The Andrew Lekish Loop starts at a paved beginning and goes into the woods on a grassy trail and is noted to have a little more elevation gain than Ruth Arcand, but not by much. It's a refreshing hike tailored for beginners about 3 miles long.
There's a large parking lot at the end of the road and we will go from there. My number is 907-538-1336. Please reach out if you are unsure of anything!
I actually looked at the weather for this one...IYKYK...LOL, and it looks to be close to perfect. Low chance of percipitation and about 60 degrees F.
Please observe the usual precaution for bears and moose. Be hyper vigilent to NOT GET BETWEEN A MAMA MOOSE AND THE BABY. I will yell at you if you act a fool.
This location and frequency of visitors makes this a relatively safe hike. Join me in this after-work relaxation and celebration of nature. It will heal your soul.
