Meetup: Basher → Train for Wolverine Peak Summit Hike
Date & Time: November 5th, meet 3:00 PM at Basher Trailhead
Meeting Location: Basher Trailhead parking lot (coordinate via GPS / map)
Estimated Duration: 2 hours (round-trip)
Distance & Elevation: ~4 mi round-trip, 384 ftelevation gain
Difficulty: This part of the hike is relatively easy and fun.
### What to Bring / Gear Checklist
- Sturdy hiking boots (good traction)
 - Layers of clothing (base, insulating, wind/rain shell)
 - Hat and gloves
 - Water (recommend 1-2 liters) + electrolytes
 - Trekking poles (helpful for steep uphill & downhill)
 - Map / GPS or trail app (download offline)
 - Headlamp (just in case)
 - Bear spray / awareness (they still might be around)
 
### Plan & Timeline (approx)
- 3:00 PM — Meet at trailhead, finalize gear, quick briefing
 - 3:15 PM — Begin hike and go in for 2.0 miles
 - 5:00pm - Reach parking lot to finish

### Safety & Etiquette Notes
- Stick together; keep within visual / communication range
 - Be wildlife aware — moose, bears can be in the area
 - Watch weather — mountain conditions can change quickly
 - If someone in the group needs to turn back, no one left behind
