Near Point from Prospect Heights
Join us for a steady out-and-back hike to Near Point starting from the Prospect Heights Trailhead. This route offers a gradual climb through birch and spruce before opening up to ridge views over the Front Range—rewarding without being overly technical.

We’ll meet at the Prospect Heights parking area and head out together. Expect packed snow and some slick sections this time of year; bring cleats or katulahs. Dress warm and be ready for a breezy summit.

Distance: ~7 miles round trip

Elevation Gain: ~2,600 ft

Pace: Moderate with regrouping

Terrain: Snow-covered trail, steady climb, ridge views

Meetup Spot: Prospect Heights Trailhead

A great weekend outing with big scenery and a solid, friendly push to the ridge.
