Details
Join us for an afternoon hike through the forests of Far North Bicentennial Park!
Date: Thursday, October 22
Time: 3:30 p.m.
Meeting place: Campbell Airstrip Trailhead parking lot, approximately 1.1 miles down Campbell Airstrip Road from Tudor Road
Distance: Approximately 5.3 miles round trip, out-and-back
Difficulty: Moderate, with rolling hills
Estimated time: 2–2½ hours
Pace: Comfortable, with regrouping as needed
Weather: Sunny and cool conditions are expected on Thursday. Dress in warm layers, bring water and be prepared for potentially icy or slippery sections on the trail.
Please arrive promptly at 3:30 p.m. for introductions before we begin.
Bring water, a snack, warm layers, gloves, bear spray and a headlamp. Carry microspikes for potentially icy footing; trekking poles are recommended.
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome. We’ll stay together, give wildlife plenty of space and avoid stepping in any set ski tracks.
The route may be shortened if conditions require. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk; each attendee is responsible for their fitness and equipment.
See you on the trail!
