Tuesday sand volleyball beginners level Spring/Woodlands

Let’s meet for fun and friendly sand volleyball at Northshore Park in the Woodlands. If for some reason both sand courts are already taken we will set up the grass net.
We need at least 12 players signed up before noon on event day or the event will be cancelled

VOLLEYBALL SAFETY RULES

Do not spike the ball directly at another player. If you want to score that badly even at the cost of injuring another player, this is not the group for you.
Make every attempt to not run into other players and respect your teammates’ space. Some players have been hitting balls that are clearly in the space of their teammates. When you do this you can hurt someone. I recommend saying “I got it” so that your teammate can back off.
Don’t touch the net! If you touch the net there’s a good chance you will make contact with someone on the other team and could step on their feet or knee them.
In between games, do not practice spiking the ball when other people are waiting on the sidelines talking. This is not safe!
