Halloween Friday sand volleyball & Game Night at District 249 - $2 to play

Let's meet on Halloween night for sand volleyball beginners (non-competitive) level
The Cost is $2 per person to play volleyball, give to me or put in the little black box labeled MEETUP VOLLEYBALL. CASH only and bring exact change.
There will also be a game night going on at the back patio area which Fran will be hosting. Bring your favorite games to share. We will play cards against Humanity and UNO. Wear a Halloween costume if you like. Just make sure if you are playing volleyball to bring change of clothing.

Anyone that does not follow the rules will be removed from the group.
VOLLEYBALL SAFETY RULES

1. Do not spike the ball directly at another player. If you want to score that badly even at the cost of injuring another player, this is not the group for you.
2. Make every attempt to not run into other players and respect your teammates’ space. Some players have been hitting balls that are clearly in the space of their teammates. When you do this you can hurt someone. I recommend saying “I got it” so that your teammate can back off.
3. Don’t touch the net! If you touch the net there’s a good chance you will make contact with someone on the other team and could step on their feet or knee them.
4. In between games, do not practice spiking the ball when other people are waiting on the sidelines talking. This is not safe!
