IN-PERSON, Postgresql database, Machine Learning, with Python & Pizza

This meetup will be in-person in the Dimbin-Mil room on level 1 at the The Precinct 315 Brunswick Street Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Meet at the gold panda (pictured) and we will go up the stairs behind it and turn left. Key card access is required after 5pm so we will have someone waiting for you at the panda between 5:15pm and 5:45pm.

Please bring your own laptop if you would like to follow along. There will be two topics.

Tim will present the first topic "How to use a Postgresql database from Python". It will be based on a Google Colab notebook so you don't need Python or Postgresql installed on your computer. https://colab.research.google.com/drive/1myQ2KzNeczjcUp2Ej1HoGVlPUXo6WFHx

Arun will present the second topic "Machine Learning LLM" which will cover the latest and greatest developments in generative AI.

People who are new to Python can turn up early at 5:15pm and we will provide individual assistance on how to install Python on your computer or use online services such as Google Colab.

There will also be an opportunity to network with other Python and Machine Learning enthusiasts before the sessions start. Official starting time is 5:30pm but pizza will be available from 5:15pm for early arrivals. (pizza is kindly provided by Amazon Web Services).

The first topic will start at 5:45pm.
