Chinese new year free food party! Yeah!

Details
To anyone spending Chinese New Year alone in Beijing (unfortunately, we won’t be hosting families this time): Join us for a cross-cultural food party on January 31!
Enjoy authentic Chinese food, meaningful connections, and a welcoming space to unwind. If you’re interested, please DM for details.
We’re inviting 20 guests—half of whom will be Chinese (most are Christians), and the rest will be anyone interested and available. There are only 10 spots left, so act quickly!
Location and Time:
31st January 2025. 17:30 till late, place of our organizer ( near Summer Palace terminal station of line 4 subway)
Event Highlights:
Chinese New Year Dinner: A festive meal featuring a whole roast lamb (subject to availability) and southern Chinese specialties.
Cultural Session: Learn about Chinese traditions with a fun dumpling-making activity.
Unique Listening Experience: Explore the Golden Voyager Record (sent into space in 1977) and reflect on how humanity represents its cultures collectively.
Open Conversations: Share tea and enjoy discussions about life, culture, and spirituality.
What You’ll Need to Bring:
- A dish representing your culture.
- Contributions to help set up the dinner (e.g., paper cups, utensils). We’ll coordinate these details in a group chat—your help is appreciated as we’re a small team of three organizers.
- The entire event is free, and we’d love for you to join us. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
