What's Tech Hive?

Beijing Tech Hive is China's most well-renowned weekend startup accelerator. Since 2011, over 500 internationally-minded product managers, developers and designers have participated in this invite-only hackathon/ business plan competition, featuring highly-respected early-stage investors from more than twenty top-tier local and international venture capital funds. More than ten teams have announced investment after participating in this event, including local Chinese, returnee 'haigui' and foreign entrepreneurs.

从2011年起，已经有超过500个具有国际视野的产品经理、开发者和设计者参加到了这项只有被邀请了才能参与的黑客马拉松比赛（也可以称作商业计划比赛）， 同时还有超过20个来自国内外的投资基金的知名投资者参与。已经有超过10个团队在参加了周末创业活动后拿到了投资。

北京创业巢的周末创业活动将会于9月18日星期五下午6点开始，一直到9月20星期日晚上10点，在海淀区的中关村36氪氪空间 (http://space.36kr.com/)举行。

The weekend startup accelerator will be held from Friday 18 September at 6pm to Sunday 20 September at 10pm at 36Kr KrSpace (http://space.36kr.com/), Zhongguancun, Haidian.

How it works:

On Friday evening, you will have two minutes to pitch your startup idea within a group of thirty selected internationally-minded entrepreneurs. After this, the top six ideas will be chosen by a voting process among you and fellow participants. These top six entrepreneurs will then recruit their fellow participants into six new teams that will work through the weekend to develop that idea into a basic product and business plan to present at Demo Night.

星期五的晚上，挑选出来参加创业活动的30位具有国际视野的创业者们将有2分钟的时间来宣讲你们的创业想法。在这之后，在你和其他的创业者之间将会投票选出前6个票数最多的想法，而这被选中的6个创业者将会招募剩下的创业者形成6个新的创业团队，一起在之后的54个小时将那个想法开发成一个基础的产品和商业计划，然后在周日晚上向大家演示。

During this weekend, you will meet seven early-stage investors who will provide you with coaching and judging to improve your product-market fit. Then on Sunday night, you and your newly-formed team will present in front of three investors and about 200 media, entrepreneurs, potential users and other selected people with an active stake in the startup community. All six new teams will compete for 50,000RMB guaranteed investment from Songyuan Capital (http://sycapital.cn/en). After the final demo night, you will have the chance to network with the new batch of entrepreneurs from Shanghai-based Chinaccelerator (http://chinaccelerator.com/), the leading three-month startup accelerator in the East, at our Demo Night after-party.
