Join this fun meetup for a chance to grow your knowledge on Java development. The session features a highly interactive and hands-on workshop using popular technologies in the ecosystem.

9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Registration
9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Workshop abstract overview
10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Preparing prequisite tools and setup
10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Hands-on session
NOTE: Participants should bring a laptop (and ideally prepare a JDK and IDE of your choice.)
Prerequisites:
- Basic knowledge of Java development
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
This meetup is organized in collaboration with Facebook DevC Beirut community.
The hands-on session will feature developing an application that ties together individual examples on working with some of the popular tools used by many Java developers every day, from setting up a project and its dependencies, to implementing persistence solutions, to exposing REST endpoints using Spring.
