Talk Description:

• You heard about the metaverse an abstract concept but as a developer? Can you build it? As a JS developer, can you get the entire stack running with your favourite setup? Can you do all that in a way that is respectful of valuable principles like federation and open-source? Unsure, let's see!

About Fabien Bénétou:

• Fabien is a European Parliament Innovation Lab WebXR Consultant.
• Fabien arrived in Belgium a decade ago from the sunniest region of France, Bretagne. Since then after working on web development in general he switched to something more concrete in 2016 : VR!
  After failing in a startup, Fabien has been working at the European Parliament Innovation lab as a WebXR consultant. Until recently Fabien consulted for UNICEF as WebXR technical advisor for the Innovation Fund and was a Moz://a Tech Speaker to showcase how XR is not a black box but can become your medium!

• Our meetups have a limited capacity of 25 persons.
• In order to attend you have to RSVP on meetup
• Members of the community who RSVP and then don't show up three times will be removed from the group. ( As we have limited capacity we would like to avoid people not being able to attend because others RSVPed YES and did not show up... If you're not coming please RSVP NO so that people in the waiting list can attend.
