Blockchain Meetup: Blockchain in the Wild: Hype v Reality
Details
Hello to all the old and new Belfast Blockchain Meetup Members (all 400 of you). It's been a while since we got together last and so much has been happening in the world of blockchain and cryptocurrency.
Come join us as the Entrepreneurial Spark offices on November 30th to hear about what some people have been doing with blockchain and to meet other folks involved with this exciting technology.
We have a couple of speakers lined up to bootstrap the event, but also hope that everyone will use the opportunity to ask questions and offer opinions.
Engineers from arc-net, Cera McArdle & Paul Benson will showcase their blockchain-based platform, and share the opportunities and technical challenges that they have encountered in using blockchain technology for real customers.
We will also have a Shay Murnin who completed a final year project using blockchain.
After the scheduled talks we will have a panel discussion with the speakers as well as Marty Bell from Rakuten Blockchain Labs and two guys who have been dabbling in crypto and ICOs,
A big thanks to the folks at Entrepreneurial Spark who are letting us use their offices for the event. Thanks also to Rakuten & arc-net who will be sponsoring the pizza and beers.
We expect that some of the conversations will carry over from the Meetup to the Hudson Bar which is close by.
