• ZeppeLang Balloon Debate

Drawing on industry experiences and insights, Micheal will provide us with an overview of Linux and open source techology on Azure. A thought-provoking window into the world of Linux and Microsoft!

Following on our successful and engaging Syllaballoon Debate, we shall witness the much anticipated ZeppeLang Debate - a round-by-round vote-off to finally determine the one true preferred programming language. Expect an educational, challenging and somewhat tongue-in-cheek dialogue between a technically proficient coding mavens!

Each will be voted off in round-by-round after our brave linguaphiles have had an opportunity to defend their chosen medium until only one remains. To make everything a bit more challenging, we are not providing definitive criteria for audience voting - it should be a combination of persuasiveness of arguments, persuasiveness of speaker and nebulous personal language-prejudices.

The winner will be expected to port the GNU Coreutils to their chosen language by the time the pizza runs out. The loser will be expected to port the back catalogue of the International Obfuscated C Code Contest to theirs.
