BLUG Family Event: Zoo Trip

Family-friendly BLUG event, a Sunday afternoon activity. This is an opportunity for new members, regulars and former regulars to meet up and enjoy a bit of chat, without worrying about logistics of an evening event.

We have put together a trail for kids (and, realistically, the regulars also!) to find the mascots - it turns out Belfast Zoo has a decent selection of open source mascots in-house, some more familiar and some less. Whether you are 8, 18, 48 or older, and whether you are bringing kids or not, come along and enjoy a bit of outdoor FLOSS-ing!

There will be families milling around through the afternoon, so if you need to come a bit later, please feel free to do so.

All original content in our trail booklet is on Github (minus any logos) under open licenses, so if you want to do something similar here or elsewhere, feel free to reuse!

(Please bear in mind that costs of the zoo are not included; attendees are responsible for their own safety and that of their children; this is not a family-only event, individuals are welcome and several of us will be going solely for our own enjoyment!)
