This month we are starting the evening with a couple of talks:
• Russel M. will kick us off by sharing his recent dive into Functional Reactive Programming with Elixir + Phoenix framework with an Elm front-end.
• Talk 2: Chris Nixon lightning talk - "A Brief History of FRP"
Kata Hack
After the talks, we will all work on a small code problem in order to learn functional programming together.
At the end of the evening, volunteers will demo their work-in-progress / solutions in order to show the different approaches to the problems in the various functional languages chosen.
