Event Driven in the Wild with Kafka
Tutorials make building event driven applications look easy—just sprinkle some annotations over your code base, and you’re done! But as it turns out, reality can be far trickier.

This talk is for anyone about to embark on building a Java-based Event Driven Architecture, as well as for those who already have and want to compare battle scars.

I’ll start from the ground up—covering how to organize your teams and structure your codebase for an event-driven world, and exploring key patterns and frameworks that apply regardless of the technology stack—before diving into the nitty-gritty details of working with Kafka.

About Jonas
