Welcome! First the small print... this group is managed by the Bella Rose Travel agency. Anyone is welcome to lead an outting but all travel arrangements must be made through Bella Rose Travel.
With that in mind, this Meetup is for families who love to travel. If you are looking for non-kid trips, please check out the Bucket List Travel Meetup. We do a lot of adult-only and solo/couple trips through that Meetup.
Through this Meetup we will host a variety of trips - weekend getaways, cruises, resort and hotel stays, multi-city tours, theme parks, you name it. About once a quarter we will have a social, meet-and-greet at a local (Jacksonville) bar to help break the ice and put faces to names. Happy to have more if someone else wants to organize them, I'll post them, but I'm trying to be realistic with my bandwidth. Again, just reach out. We'll also have business/planning meetings once a month (approximately) in conjunction with our other Meetup. They will be shared events and cross-posted. Please only RSVP to one.
NOTE: There is no fee for our group or Meetups but you will have to pay for any trips you decide to join. All group trips are booked through Bella Rose Travel, who runs this Meetup.

This is a hosted event. I (Corey) will be attending with my family. Children are welcome to attend as well as non-Meetup members. If you prefer to do your own thing, you are not required to participate in any group activities to attend this cruise. Just let us know you prefer to not be seated with the group for dinning and/or not be included in any group emails or discussions. You can still take advantage of the group pricing and amentities.
At the moment, the plan is for everyone to drive themselves to the port. However, if there is enough interest, we can explore splitting the cost for a shuttle or rental van. Please state your interest in the discussion for this Meetup.

Did you catch the news earlier this year???
If you are looking to cruise out of Jacksonville, you are no longer relegated to Carnival's oldest and smallest ship. Starting in November 2025, Norwegian Gem will also be setting sail from our homeport here in Jax. Carnival's ship almost always sells out so we are expecting similar results from Norwegian's offering.
Be among the first to sail from Jacksonville on Norwegian Gem. I've reserved a block of cabins for our group to lock in pricing for a while, but this won't last forever. If it looks like we're not using the cabins, Norwegian will take them back without warning so it's best to grab yours now. The deposit is a very low $200. Then you'll have more than a year to pay off the balance. I can set you up on a payment plan if you like.

Please be aware that all cruise pricing is based on double occupancy. If you need a solo cabin, we may be able to find you one though they are in limited supply and tend to be smaller interiors. If you want any other type of cabin, you will need to pay for two beds even if you only use one. Our Meetups are a great place to find roommate though! Be sure to attend the next and let us know you are looking for one.
Triple and quadruple occupancy cabins may also be available upon request. Please inquire if needed.
