Using Claude to Create Presentations in PowerPoint
Details
Building a deck from scratch is one of those tasks that always takes longer than you think. The good news: Claude now has an extension that plugs directly into PowerPoint, so you can go from a rough idea to a polished slide deck in minutes — without leaving the app.
In this session, we'll walk through the new Claude extension for PowerPoint and show how to use it in real-world scenarios — pitch decks, training materials, client presentations, and quick internal updates.
We'll look at a few different approaches:
Starting from a prompt — describe the deck you want and let Claude draft the structure, slide titles, and talking points
Building from existing content — turn a document, notes, or a transcript into a clean presentation
Editing and refining — use Claude to rewrite slides, tighten language, suggest visuals, and keep your tone consistent across the deck
If time allows, we'll also look at how to combine the PowerPoint extension with other Claude workflows — pulling in research, summarizing source material, or generating speaker notes that match each slide.
Who is this for?
Business owners, consultants, and anyone who builds presentations as part of their work. No technical background needed — we'll walk through everything live and you can follow along in your own copy of PowerPoint.
