PyData Seattle 2025 is a 3-day in-person conference bringing together the global community of data scientists, data engineers, and developers of data analysis tools. 💡 Call for Proposals: Share Your Expertise!
We’re seeking talks (40 minutes, including Q&A) and tutorials (90-minute hands-on sessions) that inspire and educate. Here’s how to craft a winning proposal:

Proposal Guidelines

• Double-Blind Review: Exclude identifying information from your Title, Abstract, Description, and Outline.
• Talks: Highlight the topic, why it’s interesting, the target audience (e.g., data scientists, engineers), type (e.g., technical, hands-on), and key takeaways.
• Tutorials: Specify requirements (e.g., software, libraries) and how materials will be shared (e.g., GitHub repo).
• Abstract: A concise pitch (a few lines) for the conference program.
• Description: A detailed summary with the talk’s objective, outline, and expected background knowledge.

Tips for Success

• Target Audience: Specify job roles (e.g., data scientist, researcher) and experience level.
• Clear Title: Ensure it reflects your content accurately.
• Outline: Include approximate time breakdowns (e.g., 0–10 min: Intro, 10–20 min: Case Study).
• Get Feedback: Have peers review your proposal, especially if you’re a first-time speaker (mentorship available!).

• Overly long proposals (aim for ~200 words).
