About us

The Bellingham Linux Users Group meets on the third Wednesday of every month at the Bellingham Makerspace to explore topics in Linux, GNU, and free and open source software, often in collaboration with Bellingham Codes, the BTC Raspberry Pi Club, Linux Fest NorthWest and Cascade STEAM.

Each BLUG meetup will be in three parts:

  • the first half hour will be arrival and community support. Need help installing some app or flavor of Linux? Make sure to show up early and partake in the wisdom from some of our more experienced members.
  • After that, we will have guest sessions. Do you have ideas on what you would like to present or want to present yourself? Let us know!
  • After the presentations are done, we will have a general social time to get to know each other and to collaborate on new things.

BLUG Meetup - Show & Tell

Bellingham Makerspace, 1 Bellis Fair Parkway #618, Bellingham, WA, US

Join us this month on the third Wednesday from 5:30 PM to 7 PM at Bellingham Makerspace for a casual show-and-tell.

Got a project you're working on (in any state)? An idea you're thinking about? Something you discovered that seems really cool? Come show it off! We'll have an HDMI cable and a USB-C/Thunderbolt adapter for presentations and screen shares, or you can show physical components. (No sales pitches, please.)

Also, feel free to come early if you have questions on your own Linux/Homelab setup (the show-and-tell itself will start at about 6PM).
