Candlelight Qigong
Details
An evening of Candlelight Qigong, a gentle practice of breath and mindful movement designed to honor the season of rest. By candlelight, we’ll move slowly, opening space for the body and spirit to align with the rhythm of winter. We'll gather from 5-7 PM on December 1st at the Chuckanut Center in Fairhaven. Cost is $40 and registration through website is required.
As the light of the year fades and winter’s stillness arrives, we’re called to turn inward — to listen, restore, and reconnect with the quiet glow within. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, winter is the time of water and the kidneys, the deep well of our vitality. It invites us to nurture our Yin energy — rest, reflection, and restoration — so our Yang energy may return strong and renewed with the light of spring.
After practice, I'll provide a warm, nourishing meal crafted to support winter balance — a time to connect, reflect, and replenish together.
Come as you are. Allow yourself to slow down, breathe spaciously, and kindle the light that guides you through the dark months. PLEASE NOTE: You must register in advance through my website.
