No prerequisites, entry level class
This class is an introduction to bellydance through sacred body work, we will focus on the following:
Energy Work
- 
Locate the charkras as they relate to core movement and using breathing techniques, lotus openings, and will focus on the subpersonal, root, and sacral chakras
 - 
Identify areas of the body that need clearing, focus on Ancestral strengthening and clearing
 - 
Improve personal awareness and set intentions for self-love
 
Belly Dance Techniques
- 
Focus on basic isolations using 5 basic geometries
 - 
Intro to folkloric foot patterns
 - 
Intro to outer body basics, working the directions
 
Expression and Story Telling
- Using a variety of tools to tap into each individuals unique story
 
Music
- Intro to old school Middle Eastern Music and movement interspersed with inspiring, usually rhythmic, music from around the world (world beat)
 
Collective
- Manifesting through the tribe
 
Please bring a journal and pen, yoga mat, water, and wear something snug but stretchy with a hip scarf or shawl to tie at hips
