Muscular isolation and Constrasting fast/slow series with Liora Starting May 27th

Hey y'all,

Beginning this summer, I will teach a series of themed classes; topics will include muscular isolation; sword/balancing; shimmies; spins, laybacks, and drops; and more. Stay tuned!

Next 6-week Series: Muscular Isolation & Contrasting Fast/Slow
In this class, we will break down the various isolations (e.g., lifts, drops, slides, circles, waves, figure 8s), explore the muscles involved, drill them, and integrate them into a medium-paced, simple yet elegant choreography in which we distinctly contrast fast and slow movements. The focus will not be on how intricate the choreography is, but rather, how controlled it is. This class is appropriate for all levels (beginner/intermediate/advanced) and for all styles of bellydance (tribal/ATS/cabaret/fusion).

Class Dates: Sundays, May 27th through July 15th (no classes on June 17th or July 1st).

Class Times: 5:00 - 6:00 PM (Beginning students are encouraged to come 10-15 minutes early for a breakdown of moves covered in class for the day).

Class Location: Dancers Workshop, 11150 Research Blvd (NW Austin)--classes will be in Studio H (the satellite studio next to Kimmie's Frozen Yogurt).

Cost/Payment: A 6-week session is $75, payable up front or in 2 3-week payments of $37.50. Payment accepted via cash, check, or Paypal (please email me to register and/or for a Paypal invoice!). Drop-ins accepted at $15 per class.
