Welcome to the Bend Adventure-Dog Learning Group! This group is for anyone who wants to improve the safety and wellness of their dogs in adventurous settings! Hikers, Search & Rescue K9 teams, Conservation K9 handlers, and more will connect and learn about best practices for prevention, recognition, assessment and reasonable field treatments and decision-making when traveling away from ready-access to veterinary care. All events hosted by Adventure Vet Med - School of Veterinary Wilderness Medicine. In addition to free informal meet-ups and discounted short workshops, group embers enjoy 10% off the full exclusive 2-day Canine Wilderness First Aid course held seasonally in Bend, OR. Most events held at the lovely Juniper Flats Outdoor Education Center in Bend, OR.
