Gravel Ride, Camp Sherman 38 miles, 3,100 feet of gain

Details
Description
The early bird might not get the worm ... but we are hoping to find some cooler temps for some gravel riding fun. It’s an early start with an early hill climb that means you will be buzzing downhill when the temps start roasting you. The route? Green Ridge Lookout!
Note that we will be regrouping at several locations, so if you want to race off the front and keep on trucking, you should find a different event. This is not meant to be a race but a social outing. After all, it’s nice to chat and get to know other people. We plan on riding about 10-11 mph.
Start Location
Black Butte Lower Trailhead parking area, it is really close to the Head of the Metolius parking area, near Camp Sherman. (NF-14 and NF 1430).DO NOT go to the Camp Sherman store. If in doubt, use the information in the ride guide below. Click on directions at the top of the ride guide page.

The Route:
We are using version 2.2, a recent update! You should have the route downloaded and be able to use your device or phone. We will pull out of the park exactly at the posted start time.
If the weather takes a dive, you can assume we are canceling.
Sorry to say, but this is NOT a no drop ride. (Gosh, there are a lot of NOs in that last sentence.) but we WILL regroup a few times.
