Gravel Ride, Painted Hills, 42 miles, 3,500 feet of gain

Details
The Painted Hills is ALWAYS a special place to ride gravel and Sunday is looking to be the perfect temps. This is a bucketlister route for sure! Includes a buzzing, paved downhill through a rocky canyon that is glorious, gravel roads that are river hugging fun, and the tour of the Painted Hills.
Note that we will be regrouping at several locations, so if you want to race off the front and keep on trucking you should find a different event. This is not meant to be a race but a social outing. After all, it’s nice to chat and get to know other people. eBikes are welcome.
Please, please, please make sure you have extra sealant and have recently checked your sealant in your tires. We are verging on goathead season!

The drive is approximately one hour and fifty minutes from Bend. So let's try and find people to ride with in the group. When you sign up, post where you are driving from so we can encourage people to carpool.
You should have the route downloaded and are able to use your device or phone. I plan on riding about 10-11 mph. I will pull out of the park exactly on the posted start time.
If the weather takes a dive, you can assume we are canceling but we will post on the event.
Sorry to say, but this is NOT a no drop ride. (Gosh, there are a lot of NOs in that last sentence.) but we WILL regroup a few times.
Text or call Linda at 541 550 8930 with any questions.
