Details

When Linda and Kevin's McKay trip was cancelled, I decided to visit an old friend. Tangent, Snowbush and Pine Drops at Meissner. A 4+ mile descent on a smooth dirt road. A climb through the forest that was treated several years ago as part of the West Bend Project . A less than half mile section of Century Drive, followed by a less than 2 mile climb up the cinder 4613. Some washboard that can be mostly avoided by picking your lines. Back onto intimate dirt roads (I will give a cookie to anyone who has been on this road before) to the smooth part of Funner single track. Cross Century Drive on a short smooth single track so that we can finish on a one mile gentle downhill on Tangent.
Here is the rwgps route

Ebikes are not allowed on USFS trails.
We will have our meeting at the Meissner snopark at 9am near the shelter, then launch.
Our ride is not meant to be a race but a social outing. After all, it’s nice to chat and get to know other people. The goal is to have fun, meet other people, and sneak in a ride. We will regroup at major intersections.
You MUST have the route downloaded and are able to use your device or phone. I plan on riding about 10 mph. We will pull out of the start, exactly on the posted start time.
If the weather takes a dive, you can assume we are canceling but we will also post a message on the Meetup page.
We will regroup a few times. This ride is unsupported and no food or water are on the route.
