Gravel Ride/Blue Wolf: McKenzie Bridge area, 50 miles with 3,700 gain

Details
Lucky 13. That's the number of cyclists we are taking with us to find the timid Wolf Rock, the largest monolithic rock in Oregon. We are using Horse Creek Lodge as the shuttle for this point-to-point. Now, before you think you are going to be whizzing downhill the whole time, the numbers look like this: 50 miles, 3700 feet of gain, 5400 feet of descent.
Last time we used the shuttle, we did the Blue River route; this time, we have cooked up something even more special. The Blue Wolf! (Yes, we have ridden all of these roads.)
The Route:
Blue Wolf. Just below the map is the link to the GPX ride file.
You MUST have the route downloaded to a bike computer or similar device and be able to navigate from it. Why is this important?
Logistics:
We are using a shuttle service from Horse Creek Lodge, which is located in McKenzie Bridge (about a 90-minute drive from Bend). The shuttle costs $35, but we are charging you $40 to kick in a small donation to Dirty Freehub to cover the Meetup charges. The shuttle rolls out of their parking lot at 9:00, which means we recommend you don't cut it close and plan to be there 15-30 minutes before.
What comes with your shuttle? Free showers and free bike wash at the end, along with drinks in the van and $2 donation kicked back to their local trails organization.
Our ride is not meant to be a race but a social outing. After all, it’s nice to chat and get to know other people. The goal is to have fun, meet other people, and sneak in a ride. We will regroup at major intersections.
I normally ride about 10 mph, but with all that downhill, it’s anybody’s guess. The shuttle promptly leaves at 9 am, so you need to plan accordingly.
Sorry to say, but this is NOT a no-drop ride. (Gosh, there are a lot of NOs in that last sentence.) But we WILL regroup a few times. This ride is also unsupported.
If the weather takes a dive, you can assume we are canceling.
