SLOW Intermeasy MTB Ride, Mrazek

Slower than the usual Intermeasy. If you ride with Kirk, Burt, or Pat when they lead a ride, this ride is not for you. As BACE ride leaders we want to give slower riders a BACE ride in which they can feel comfortable. Please don't sign-up for this ride if you are a medium speed or fast rider. No one left behind. We will have a sweep.

The ride: We will meet at the junction of Mrazek trail and BS Logging road.
BS Logging rd is also called forest road 4606. To access this gravel road, go past the turn for Phil’s TH on the left and look for brooks scanlon road on the right. It will turn into a gravel road. After a few yards you will turn left because you can’t go straight. Follow this gravel road for about 2.5 miles. Looks for my blue outback and other cars will be there.

We’ll climb up Mrazek about 5 ish miles. This is an out and back. But it’s a FUN out and back. A gentle climb out and a FUN ride down. Part of the downhill includes a fun slalom type trail. If you’ve never done Mrazek, you’ll love it. Promise. We’ll stop at the green shed and possibly go up farther.

Distance: Will be about 8-10 miles and around 800 ft of gentle climbing depending on how far up we go.

About 2.5 hours pending the speed of the group. No one left behind.

Rules of the Rides
• Approved Cycling Helmets Required.
• Participants must be age 18 or over.
• To participate in a BACE Meetup activity, you must be a member of the BACE Meetup Group and be RSVP’d “Yes” for that specific activity. No “Plus 1’s”
• All participants should be “self-sufficient” with their own food, hydration, tools, spare tubes and first aid supplies necessary for the activity.
• Cycling activities may be significantly impacted by changing conditions (rain, snow, mud, road construction, etc.). Participants should monitor activities for cancellations or changes in location/route.
