Dirty Freehub is hosting a Grand Depart of the Deschutes River Rambler (DR2) —a multi-day bikepacking journey that traces the Deschutes River from its headwaters near Little Lava Lake all the way north to where it meets the Columbia River.

The Route
The Deschutes River Rambler covers approximately 302 miles with ~9,900 feet of elevation gain, following the river. The is start is at Little Lava Lake and the finish is where the Deschutes River meets the Columbia River. The route is designed to be ridden over multiple days. (Use the LAT/LONG on Dirty Freehub to make sure you are the correct start instead of Meetup.).

The Grand Départ Experience
We’ll roll out together, then the journey becomes your own:

  • Ride it in 3–5 days depending on your pace and style
  • Camp under the stars
  • Connect with other riders along the way—or find your own solitude

It’s a shared start, not a race.

Important: Registration Required
This Meetup is just an invitation. Register through Dirty Freehub to join us:
