Bend 20s/30s/40s Active Friends in the Outdoors

Let's float the Deschutes River! - from Riverbend Park to Drake (or McKay if you want to skip rapids. The rapids of the Deschutes do require some active participation, but if you have never done inner tubing, this is a good river to start on! The majority of the float is calm and slow, and there is an option to pull out for those who don't want to do the rapids section.

There are shuttle systems throughout Bend, so you can either park where you want to end (Drake Park or McKay) and walk to the start at Riverbend, or park near Riverbend and get a shuttle back.

Meet on the large grass lawn at Riverbend near the put-in to the river. Please bring a durable tube.

The float should take about 1.5 hours.

We can mingle and do introductions for a bit at Riverbend before we get started. And then at Drake at the finish can hang out in the shade and grab some snacks or a bite downtown.

Come make new friends! Singles, new in town peeps, and those looking to make connections with other young and active people in the area encouraged!

Let's meet for some pickleball! All levels welcome for some after work play when Pine Nursery courts are open play and first come first serve.

I will be the tall guy with all the Selkirk stuff! Please bring a paddle if you have one, but I will have a few to loan.
