Macbeth

Things have gone wrong in Scotland. Both Macbeth and his tortured wife came off the rails. They cannot stop torturing each other and the king. Wickedness abounds. And, of course, to keep the attention of the witch obsessed James I there are the witches. Shakespeare blasts off the stage into the audience in the many wonderful productions (I like Denzel Washington and Francis Mcdormand in Joel Coen's 2021 version. Even the trailer is the stuff of nightmares.) But read it too.
